Go to home depot then. There are guys that home made them. Search on the forums.

yeah, I've seen them. I'm good with just buying the links versus making them. its a 200k car, not a civic....lol

Hence why I went with a lowering module and not the links...

all the module does is allow you to adjust on the fly for three times the money. I don't think it's mechanically any better than links, especially with ABC. they both do the exact same thing; lower the car. however, w,the 5k lbs I'd rather trust the build quality from that manufacturer versus whatever cast is sitting on the shelf.

On the CL, the ride height on the module, once its set, doesn't change. Some models the car will raise back up at a certain speed. I would rather use the lowering module because I can put the car at stock ride height just by clicking a button. Lowering links you can't do that. The module is not a mechanical piece but rather an electronic one. It will take less time to install and setup than the lowering links. To each their own. I will stick to my over priced module.

BTW you can get the lowering modules for $800 including remote. Unless you want it to say Renntech then its twice the money for the same module.

by mechanical I mean they both manipulate the signal for ride height, one does through direct electric means and the other via tricking the height sensors. links won't cause your car to raise once installed unless you use the ABC button which can put you back at normal height. the raising issue was with people trying to lower via STARS/DTS only.

That right. The STAR method doesn't seem to hold its values and with in a couple of weeks, the car resorts to the orginal height.
