hi all im new to the forum and looking at getting my first benz. i just got a promotion and the soon to be bride is just finishing grad school and i can finally afford a new toy!! i am looking at picking up a cl65 amg in the spring and trying to do as much research as i can before hand and was hoping to get some insight on these rockets before i make a mistake. i know about the coils and the abc system but is there any other ticking time bombs? i also read that heat soak is a big factor for the coils. has anyone tried a ceramic coating on the headers or heat wrap to lower under hood temps?

Find a nice car at a fair price, get a pre-purchase inspection done and review its service history, and then if PPI and svc history results are good, buy it with an excellent warranty.
