Were W215 CL's Available With 'Dynamic Seats'?

Has anyone ever seen a W215 CL with 'Dynamic Seats'? I personally haven't. I know for the generation of these cars you could get them on an S, E, CLS, SL (?), so what gives why isn't this a common feature as ventilated seats on a CL? Was it even available? Always curious about that. I know that member 'Becks Imports' on here listed a CL600 he had for sale that had the Dynamic feature, but I've never seen a pic.

I don't believe the W215 ever had the dynamic seat option.

That's what I thought. That's unfortunate for a car like that. It's weird, because with most 55Ks, they came with alcantara headliner, but the W215s didn't unless you have a 600/65

Not sure I'm understanding. My '03 CL55 window sticker lists "active ventilated & dynamic multi-contour front seats" as a standard feature. Is there a different dynamic seat?

The bolsters firm as the car turns to keep you in the seat. For me, it would be a waste because I keep them bolsters as firm as possible, anyway.

Do you have a black button/tab on the front plastic part of your seats under the 'PULSE' controls that you can press and reads 'DYNAMIC', like so:
Pp

If not, you don't have the true 'Dynamic' seats feature, which makes the seats side bolsters hug you and turn in when you go around a corner or turn at higher speeds.

Instead of alcantara/suede as most people get done/cars come with, my car is at a customization shop that has done many other things over the years to my cars, and Monday it's going to be finished getting the entire headliner, pillars and visors all done in leather that is matched up with the 'Charcoal' color of the seats. I think that's a little cooler, different and exclusive. Something you only see these days in a Bentley/Rolls Royce that I know of. Should smell like the Louis Vuitton store when you enter my car now lol. Plus it's going to be very easy to keep clean, just leather wipe it down. Sorry about rambling on...

Ah, I see. So there's dynamic seats, and then there are really dynamic seats. Great nomenclature there MB.

Out of curiosity, what do they call that option, if they call the ones we all have "dynamic"?

What is the cost? Seriously, I always thought these should have come with a leather headliner at least. Even a Maserati coupe came with leather back then, and it was just a Ferrari's little cousin.

The SRS button pieces on the pillars are getting painted red (I have a red and black theme in the interior going), the plastic parts that hold the mirror underneath the visors as well as the arm are getting painted black as well as the handle/vent for the sunroof visor is also getting painted black.

With all the material/labor/paint it came to a little over $2,100. They're saying it looks "sexy" so far! Plus, the little handle pieces on the side where you hold on are getting covered in 'pressed in' Louis Vuitton leather like so

Forgot about that. In all fairness, a Designo edition CL (especially in those years before the Designo line was being pushed like today) is even rarer than a CL 55 lol

It's not going to be red. It's going to be black, and just all but the 3" width of the handles.
I'm sure the stock plastic grey handles are much nicer on your car. I'm jealous. Besides, your opinion doesn't mean much to me tbh, but thank you for it. You always came across to me as the guy that has the leather elbow patches on your suit jacket.

It will still be tacky even in black but it is your car so do what you want. All of your mods look great. This will be the first one that doesn't fit the look.

Thanks for your input. I don't like gaudy looking things, like when people get the whole headliner and their seats done in Gucci print. Thats fine for others, but too much for me. I wanted something subtle. Something you wouldn't see or would distract you unless you actually looked closely at it. This Louis Vuitton leather print from a distance looks just plain black, it isn't until you look closely to see the LV monogram pressed in. I think it's going to be a nice touch, the handles aren't big by any means. If I posted a pic of my finished headliner, I guarantee 99% of people would never notice I got the handles done in that material until I pointed it out. I learned I can't make everyone happy with my taste, nor do I try to anymore. Oliverk from an internet forum may hate it, but Jenna who lives 15 minutes from me may love it. As long as I'm happy, let me be. And if for some reason it comes out ****eous, I'll just get it re-done in alcantara or something. No biggie
