The 55 to 63 Switch, thoughs on this car ad?

I would like some thoughts on this particular car:
http://www.dealerfusion.com/search.a...toryno=2293707

Dealer is willing to sell at 61k, and give me 15 on my 05 CL55 w/106k on it.

Deal seems fair, especially for the white. It's a private car lot, that claims because he bought it from MB Financial within the 4yr/50k period, he can extend the CPO. Can anyone verify?

Does not sound like a good deal for your CL55. He is scooping your trade unless you have some issues with your CL. Also, only the original owner can extend the warranty through Mercedes. Price on the CL is also too high given it is from a private dealer and not certified. You can get a non certified one with fewer miles for around 54K.

Thanks for verifying the CPO, it sounded like he was selling a 3rd party warranty as CPO.

My CL has 2 bad shocks, and the Command unit is on the fritz. Looking at 4-6k to fix everything.

that cl63 is a $58k to you or so.

your car trade in is $17-18k assuming average condition.

I'm pretty sure they still have the ABC system.

They have upgraded valve bodies and front abc hose. The rest is identical.

LOL. When I had my 2003, the 2004 - 2006 owners thought their cars were newer and more updated so they would not have any ABC issues. It's just a matter of time, heat, and mileage until yours starts going south.
