Alcantara

The interior looks great but I couldn't justify the cost in my lifetime. What was the cost from MB? I guess if people are willing to pay for something someone is out there to collect the money. However, I'm sure a comparable finish could have been found for a fraction of the cost. As always, its your car and if you enjoy it then good for you. Thanks for the pics now go get a time slip!!!

I'm very happy with all the work done. IMO you get what you pay for and it was money well spent. To each their own. There was no comparable cost estimate from MB because they didn't make a charcoal Alcantara headliner and related hardware for the CL in that model/year -- I had checked first.

Nope -- almost 100% sure you can't for CL 2003-2006. It only comes in that light grey color and you would have to include new dome lights, rear view mirror, grab bars, SRS badges, sunroof plastic, etc.

Car looks sweet, the wheels are awesome. Not an Alcantara fan but I like the black interior, a lot. The passport is just wicked tucked in there. Very very nice.

Thanks. The wheels were the first thing I did to the car, they make a "titan" version but I like the alloy and not a fan of chrome. I looked at getting "black" alcantara and it was too dark for the car and ended up going with charcoal which matches the interior. I'm glad I did the door inserts as well because that felt type material was starting to get beat up and doesn't hold up as nice as alcantara. It truly feels like a different car with the interior all dark charcoal.
