Central Gateway Burned

Central Gateway Burned
Is that possible the Central Gateway be burned if you jump start the car? My dealer insisted that I burned the Central Gateway when I jump started my CL 63.

If the battery is low the STAR DAS will not be able to communicate with the CGW. I would take it to a indy and see if they can connect the car to STAR DAS to see if the CGW if faulty.

some of the electronics may stop working. As the name states (Central Gateway) is the gateway that STAR DAS uses to communicate with the car.
The part is the size of a cigarette box and I dont think so it is very expensive.

The Dealer charged me $900 to fix it even thoght I have an Extended Warranty. They said I burned the CG module because I jump started the car incorrectly.
