Talking SL63 grille installed on my CL55 *Video and Photos*

Amazingly the other grille I ordered showed up today!

So here it is:

Comparison to my other, starless grille:

And my Stock Grille:

Which one do you guys like best?
It's really a toss up for me. But I'm going to rock the SL63 one for now.

I think next to the stock one, this one is a good second choice.

The fins on my grille are carbon fiber...looks sick IMO
I just don't like you got the imitation single fin grille with the gap between the hood and grille. Had that same one for two days, then got rid of it and got the 'correct flush one'. Gaps don't look factory. Besides that, the single fin is IMO better looking than starless (guess you don't have distronic) or the 4 fin OEM

Literally, 3 or 4 bolts you unscrew whilst the hood is open from the top psrt of grille. Mega easy to DIY. SOOOO many sites have "W215 Single Fin Grille"

I've never felt "belittled" by you - ever. It's like throwing pebbles at rhinocerous skin, can't hurt. Annoy? Yes. Just offering criticism from a guy that went thru it all and resorted to custom grille with no gaps and matching OEM mesh. I didn't insult anyone like you do in all my threads. And the mesh I have planned now for my new grille is gonna be unlike ANY other W215. New things comin' baby

You rambling little loser, learn to type English correctly. What the **** does " Just offering criticism from a guy that went thru it all and resorted to custom with now gaps" mean?

Of course you mustn't have very good reading comprehension either, orr just too stupid to understand things, even when they are written down for you to read over and over as many times as it takes for you to get it.

The only sad thing is you, since literally NOBODY here likes you, and you do NOTHING helpful for the MB community. You just can't **** off, can you?
What a pathetic little pest you are.

Your car looks worse and worse everytime you "mod" it, should've left it stock.. I can only **** when on a hot girl, not with my hands like you've been used it for years
And yes, your grille has gaps on top...don't front
It's your car but its turning into trash. Happy New Year
BTW I don't care who likes me, nor have I tried to achieve that goal. But I get way more attention than you

You certainly do have illusions of grandeur sonny boy, that's a clinical problem. Plus, you're loser, who's opinion means nothing. I do CLEAN MODS, not the **** you aspire to like fender scoops and cutouts and retarded cf wheels (all RICER CRAP). These cars are classy, but you apparently no nothing of that word. You're embarrassed to show the ugly betty you've turned a once nice car into, that's why you never post a picture of it I'm sure.

In the female department, I trump you there as well. Here's my lady, whom I've been dating for 7 years.

Go back to playing with your imaginary friends you dork.

Lastly, what am I "fronting" about, you idiot? This is an aftermarket grille, and I'm helping out by showing the different ones available on the market for purchase.
That's USEFUL INFORMATION, another concept you are unable to grasp, you leech.
You never help out other members by posting anything useful. What a selfish ***** you are.

GAPS! As in doesn't flow properly. You have an inch gap where the hood meets the grille. That's a gap slowpoke

You're a simpleton, the design of the grill is what it is. If you don't like it dont buy it. GAPS are where body panels meet up, and are supposed to close tightly but do not.

I'm quite advanced sir, especially for my accolades in woman and knowledge- but that's irrelevant for this subject
They make two (2) different single fin grilles for the W215 CL. The nicer one with no gaps between the hood and top part of grille, and then the one you purchased that does have a gap/ AKA cheaper one . Just filling you in. My knowledge of the CL goes way beyond the few months of ownership you have.
And just as an FYI, I did buy the one you currently have.....and got rid of it, cause it doesn't look like the MB facrtory made it. Have a nice day sir

Oh. My. God. I feel sorry for you boy. You clearly have mental issues, and as I said before suffer illusions of grandeaur. The actual phenomenon is called the"Dunning–Kruger effect."

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes.

And that's you in summation. It would behoove you to study psychology, since you'll need quite alot of mental tuning to function correctly in society. Unless you like being an outcast.

As for the grilles,

There are 10-20+ grilles available for the w215. Just like how you think you know the part numbers for my fog lamps and their used $ values on the open market, and how I proved you wrong there (as I consistently do every time) You'll see, again, you don't know what you're talking about.

Here are just a few examples of the MANY MANY GRILLES available for the w215. Where you just say with absolute certainty:

"They make two (2) different single fin grilles for the W215 CL."

And even make sure to use the numeral "2" to make your assumed "fact" seem like there's no arguing your word, again you are nothing but WRONG.

Proof:

And that's just in this SL style. On ebay alone. I only copied half of the designs here. They all have different combos of mesh type, fin angle etc..

Everything that you write can be disregarded as the ramblings of a lunatic.

Here's another close up photo of my car.. You can see it fits great.. These are the facts, and anything else that you say on the contrary is your own OPINION, which nobody values. You can say you don't like the design, you can say you don't like the angle of the fins, you can say whatever you want. But the FACT is, you are WRONG. It fits as shown, excellently.

There are DOZENS available to choose from, AS I PROVIDED PHOTOS OF.
Anybody can goggle and ebay search 'w215 grille' to see for themselves.

You are as useless as your garbage pile car is.

And lastly, time of ownership does not automatically equate to more knowledge of any given subject. That statement you made again proves your simple little child mind.

"My knowledge of the CL goes way beyond the few months of ownership you have. "

No, it sure does not.

I have more automotive experience then you ever will kid. I've built countless engines from the ground up, including SBF 302's, Ducati desmoquattros, Norton's, Many many yamaha bike motors, yz's, jetski's, the list goes on and on. I've taken a 2 year ASE course in machining and blueprinting high performance engines, and have machined my own blocks (overbore) and balanced cranks, flowed heads, and everything involved with building high performance motors. I've fabricated whole motorcycles, am a skilled welder, and I've actually worked in a mercedes benz garage for 2 years before I started my companies. I've assisted master tecs when I was a junior age kid like you in rebuilding mercedes motors. My dad has been buying E55's new since they came out, and have been around the 55k platform since it's inception, just now I own one myself. And guess what? I have all the proof in the world because I document the things I like. Videos of my creations over the years, motor builds etc..

The CL55 not the kind of car you do engine swaps in. It's not the kind of car you do ricer mods (like everything you claim to have done). That's why I focus on the cooling mods, and simple body lines, cleaning things up, and making sure things are optimized. This is not a Camaro, or an M3, where that **** is common place. I already had my younger days of modifying cars where they wern't drivable for months while transmissions were swapped out, things of that nature. I drive this car everyday.

So you see, unlike you, I never bullsh*t. It just makes the person doing it look like a reprehensible little poser, who garners no respect from anyone.

Absolutely worthless.

nidyanazo, do you realize you are making a complete dick out of yourself? as soon as you have nothing you fall back on things like spelling and calling for the Dunning–Kruger effect... wow you are pathetic, who the F*** CARES!!??... its even worse that you have to post up a pic of a girl that could be anyone, but mostly looks like a ....... well anyone could fill that space...

you are a complete TROLL and you should GTFO.... I came here to write my opinion about grilles, and what I get is some pathetic loser bragging about how blonde his mrs is and how good he can use spelling-check...

For the grille, Love the starless grill tbh... looks factory as well as a classy upgrade... the single fin grille does work well on the CL tho... better IMO than on my CLK...

I posted a photo of my lady because he wrote:

"I can only **** when on a hot girl, not with my hands like you've been used it for years"

And yes, it COULD be any random chick I Google imaged, but I'm not a Bullshi**er like some people. I thought I made that clear.

And by the way, she also has a clk430. It's a Great chicks car.

So maybe I sound like a dick, but this guy constantly messes with my
threads. I'm pathetic?! Who the **** are you, to go around calling people names, you're just like that little a$$wipe zneB STARTING S*IT

So if anything, I'd say no life losers who just talk smack (like you for example) are the pathetic people in this world.

I'm trying to discuss CL's and do my modding projects, not this little kid SH*T you fockers come up with all the time.
