I also have the E bay pedals on my car. They look pretty good for what they cost.

It really wasn't a factory option. Actually most those pedals are knock offs, but they do look good.

The factory starting in 2004 (or was it 2005) used the studded pedal covers that first came factory on the SLK55.

I remember my dad bought an 05 E55 new, and checked that option.
I'm pretty sure they were an option on CL55's too..

These ones I installed are not factory AMG pedals of course, but aftermarket ones.

So which one was it?

I'm 99% sure that that aluminum pedals / pedal covers came on these cars, as an option.

I added the factory pedals to my 2003. I can take a picture if you want.

The stock pedals are not as nice as some of the after market options however.

Most people, including the Mercedes factory disagree. These are the same as the metal pedals that came in these cars, only they have an engraved AMG logo on them.

Are you really not able to see the steering wheel well enough to determine what you're looking at?

I replaced the center star with an AMG roundel. The top and bottom are trimmed with perforated Alcantara.

these look far better, and no drilling

as for the alcantara trimming, it looks like you just slapped a cover over the wheel. very cheesy.

No, those dont have AMG logos, defeating the purpose of buying ones that do have the logos. Durp.

And I trimmed the wheel and the gearshifter with alcantara exactly how I wanted. I bought the material, I cut the size and I did it exactly how I wanted. Many people do the whole wheel.

You sure have a poor attitude. Maybe it's because you have poo colored seats.
