W215 V12TT Build by Speedriven, W221 S550 4Matic
A lot of good ECU TCU tunes that are great out here. Hard to say one vendor is better than the other but I would recommend Speedriven or Eurocharged. It is really up to you. The best would be to call the vendors and see who you like best. The V12TT will make around the same power #s with all flash tunes from most vendors on here. I have a bit more than just tune from Speedriven but with TCU/ECU tune only from them I was super happy and never had any issues. They also have the block tuner where you can flash your car between tunes in case you want the stock tune back on the car for warranty purposes or simply to flash it back.

I got the Renntech TCU/ECU upgrade for my cl600 and my car is CRAZY FAST NOW--I cant see using the manual shift mode without blowing my tranny-the car is waaay too fast to shift through gears 1,2,3,4,5 without having a TRUE manual tranny--Regular tires will NOT bite the pavement enough to hold the power--All I can say is WOWWW!!--Renntech sent me a waiver to sign because of this car exceeding the 188 mph tire rating--I have driven it about 180 mph without any modifications FOR SURE so I recommend Renntech -

I can say the same thing about Eurocharged for my CL65. Only difference was I didn't have to sign a waiver...LOL and I've seen those speeds as well. I never would have thought. I do find it fun to downshift to 2nd here and there for a endless pull.

The thing to understand is there are several good tuners offering comparable products...Do you homework and speak with them all. You may find more in common with one over the other or based on where you live you may have more support from one over the other. The names that are mention have offered the community their products for a while now and they keep finding more to offer for this motor since its close to 10 yr old. So what your looking for is nothing new. Good luck with your choice what ever it may be.

Racehorse, after my tune, I put an AMG badge on the back of my car but after thought, that is a misnomer--My car is MUCH faster than an AMG from start to finish and even faster than an untuned CL65--However, I am a little envious because I KNOW that your tuned 65 is seeing 200+mph as your engine is built a little better than the 600's--So, a CL65 can EASILY be tuned to over 200 mph for about 2k and even less--WHAT A BARGAIN!!!--I'll trade ya Horse!!--LMAO

Hey sorry I won't be trading this horse.. by far the best one I have in the barn...LOL
I'll agree badge or no badge I'm surprised there aren't more 600s running around with tunes based on how they move. Little to no hardware or bolt ons are needed to get soooo much more power compared to stock on the 600s. Performance wise, a tune makes the 600 close to equal with a slight edge going to the tuned 65, since its not nearly the same percentage gains in the 65. As far as top end, 200 would be great to see but would require some sort of long closed course. The fear of deer in the northeast at night and running over other cars during the day makes it impossible. Even the slightest turns are felt at speeds over 150 mph in these tanks. Also stopping from 200 will take some serious real estate. Who knows? It would be a nice bragging right!!!
