Brabus...
My car has a Brabus rear emblem replacing the ///AMG, Brabus sill plates, and a Brabus steering wheel. That's it as far as I can see. Ugh, a previous owner did some Brabus bling just for the flash. That's not me. If the car had some Brabus hardware to along with it, that might be cool. I am thinking about removing the Brabus rear emblem and the CL55, filling and painting the trunk lid. Clean. My custom plates will show the car to be a '55'. I have AMG on my wheels, I'll swap in AMG sills, it's on the dash and the engine cover. Enough for me.
I would like to do some color at the valve covers, but that would require a custom air pipe system to replace the air box. I'm not into increased engine intake noise. Will have to do some research on this. And that exposes the intake 'ribcage', (non-supercharged M113) I have some ideas for that as well.
First I have some standard maintenance to do before I get all squishy about appearance mods. First you pay, then you play. Fun car!

Mine are not in stellar shape, they are scratched and corroded in a couple of spots. Plus I've seen them for sale new, here is one link:

When I pull them out I'll keep you in mind.

Yeah but those new ones are not original.
When you talk about redoing the trunk, are you going to fill in the license plate trim break? I always thought that was kind of annoying on the W215 and W220 where the center section would be replaced between Euro and US. It just wasn't clean looking. Or when you say filling are you referring to something else?

Typically car emblems are connected by posts that go through holes in the body panel with a nut on the backside. I haven't pulled the trunk liner off yet or looked into it but I assume these are the same. So by filling I mean the holes in the metal, it will require the services of a body smith to fill, prime & paint to match.
I have seen the 'super-adhesive' method, wouldn't that be nice, although it would still require some prep & paint touch up where the emblems were.

Your badges are just stuck on with 3M double back tape. The only emblem that has holes is the Benz star.
Nope, no need to repaint if you debadge. Just pull the emblems off after heating them with a hair dryer, use some goo gone, and then polish out the marks.
