Intake Dreams
Random thoughts...
-- Connect the intake air to the cowl plenum below the windshield - old hotrod trick. Cold air, pressurized air. The M113 has it's mouth at the back of the engine anyway...
-- Modify a M113E N/A intake manifold so that the throttle is at the front of the engine. Shorter route to the intakes each side of the radiator, colder air.
Filtration a challenge with either idea. Just thinking out loud.

Moreover; if can modify the Throttle mouth to install "82mm" Throttle body,,
Im soo surprise, why Performance shops won’t go with this Extremely modification benefits.....

the vents at the base of the windshield would reduce airflow into the intake. that's a low pressure area. the low pressure combined with the flow from the grille removes hot air. you would have to have.some kind of element raised past the pressure barrier to do anything.
