Has anyone use these oil additives on CL55 AMG?
I have a 2003 CL55 AMG with 52K miles and is wondering will these additives harm my precious engine?
Any recommendation? or avoid them all together?
Slick 50 or duralube or prolong or zmax????

Why? I have seen a few 100k+ miles v8 amg engine internals and they looked pristine inside. The only exception was a little sludging in the oil pan but all was good.
Change your oil hot, drain it from th bottom and don't sweat things you shouldn't.

I think it's much better and safer to just use the best syntetic engine oil you can get for money and change it more often. High quality oils have a lot of the additives that realy works. One is not sure about what these add ones contains if any.

this. I would NEVER put any of that goop in my engine. You'd be surprised how clean a high-mileage engine can be on the inside when properly maintained with a synthetic oil.

No additives with solid parts. NO PTFE, NO CERAMICS, no nothing. A good formulated Synthetic oil and shorter oil-change intervals (6000miles/10.000km) do the trick.
