Cl63 nav software upgrade

Cl63 nav software upgrade
My gf has a 2011 c300 and her nav looks so much better then my 08cl63. Plus when you plug your iPod in, you can see all the different play lists on the command screen of the c300. You don't see any of that on my car. Is there a software update of some sort available? I know the cars are 3 years apart but your talking about a 40k and a 140k car. It seems that Benz would make the 140k car software updatable.

I bet it's just video in motion and basic iPod hook up. I'll call the stereo shop and confirm.
Sivraj222 this will tell me if you have the updated software or not, when your iPod is plugged in, can you see the iPod content including all music folders and song names on the nav display and not the speedo display?
You say it's all 2013 stuff. This means your command system colors should have changed as well from a yellow tint to more of grey in color.

Just FYI, I just ordered the most current navigation update for my 2112 CL63 AMG from my Mercedes dealer and it covers through 2016. They charge $250.00.
For me, it is well worth it as right now, my car displays my home as being in the Uintah National Forest. My subdivision, as well as others in the area, did not exist in 2012; but it did in 2015.
Granted, you can't beat Google Maps, and I would use it if as with my Hyundai Santa FE, Mercedes provided an Android app to show it on the dash screen as if it was the native solution. Otherwise, it can be a bit of a hassle.
The Parts Manager was very doubtful that a newer version would be released. It seems odd as I can get the CD up to 2018 for my 2005 CL600.
I hope this helps anyone still wondering what the status is with Mercedes.

I know that this is an old thread but I am hopeful. I have a 2013 CL 63 with an older nav disc and would love to update it. My dealer said there was no part number so I was out of luck. Do you have a part number or any thoughts on how I can get this disc?

Regarding to European Maps, last software version is V17 (2019 maps)...but I suppose you need the American version.

I did speak to both the map provider (HELP) and my MB parts dept and I think that they have an update. I am not sure about the 2019 date for the US. I will feed back what I find.
