Looking to buy...what are the concerns of low mileage? How low is too low?
I'm shopping for the next car right now and I have pretty much decided to go the "used high end" route and get something from the middle 2000's. 2004-2006 seems to fit my budget and I like the models.
I found a 2004 CL55 AMG that I'm going to see tomorrow.
Here is the question...when looking at low mileage vehicles, how low is too low? I've heard too many stories about cars that sat around for extended periods of time and how to some degree that can be worse than being used. Gaskets/seals dry up, fluids sit, etc.
So the 2004 for example, has 34k miles. Not so low that it becomes incredibly suspicious (scam) but still a concern from a mechanical standpoint?
Your thoughts?
Don't worry, I'm using the search feature for all the rest of the "what to look for questions", just wasn't sure what search terms to use for that.
Thanks!
