Haha!! I am trying not to for sure. Car is very civilized as it is. I might do coolers, intake, ECU& TCU and she where it goes. Don't want to do turbo upgrade and such as summer is around the corner and just looking to enjoy the car. I have been wrenching for quite some time with various cars and want to take a small break. I think with these V12s if you could loose a few pounds here and there they will turn out quite nice. Maybe I'll focus on that

-Wheels are definitely anchors- I think they are like 37lbs each
-Seats- 75-80 +/- lbs each
-Spare tire- another 30-40 lbs
-Rotors- Not sure there is a lighter version out there
-Battery- 50 lbs- not sure if a Braille would work to charge the V12 Ignition system
-ABC system? Thats a little extreme!
Right there you will ditch about 400lbs.

Then of course comes the question if she will run the same times in street trim vs Track...most likely not.

Some things that could replace for track use only:
-Wheels are definitely anchors- I think they are like 37lbs each
-Seats- 75-80 +/- lbs each
-Spare tire- another 30-40 lbs
-Rotors- Not sure there is a lighter version out there
-Battery- 50 lbs- not sure if a Braille would work to charge the V12 Ignition system

This one is very doable by having a drag pack in the garage ready to go
-Seats- 75-80 +/- lbs each
How hard are the seats to take out and put back in do you think the C63 Seats would fit and function are those any lighter? or maybe the CLk63 AMG Seats?
-Spare tire- another 30-40 lbs
I got that out I have the rear tank for cooling lol took out useless weight to replace it with weight that can give at least give me something lol
-Rotors- Not sure there is a lighter version out there
I don't think I want to go that far but would be interesting to see whats out there when doing the brakes you might as well do lighter stuff
-Battery- 50 lbs- not sure if a Braille would work to charge the V12 Ignition system
Thats a good question I will ask Marcin to see if this would work, the OEM battery needs a crane to get pulled out

Its a ****ty system anyway that will break and cost millions to fix if it goes a coilover swap or air ride would be something to think about

I believe Giro Disc makes a set of bolted rotors with aluminum hats for 215 55k. Worth giving them a call to see if they can do a set for 65. I am making my own floating discs. OEM 55k rotors weigh an absolute ton (only fronts are 44 lbs each). 65 will be even heavier.

Thanks for the info.

My IC pump is shot...you could feel car at high speeds from 3800 to 7K just hits a wall. Changing pump this weekend and a rear tank.

When I add the IC and reservoir will hit the track. My previous black CL with no cats and reservoir, drag radials ran consistent 11.5 at 122.

The poor guy is like a recovering alcoholic showing up at a bar to say what's up to some friends and socialize. Every keeps attacking him "Let's do a shot! Do a shot!" Your in the wrong place to try and keep that car stock while everyone is yelling MOD, MOD, MOD!!!
