Any idea how many white W215 CL65's were made? After you researched finding one curious if you found out. When I was looking I only found a few and definitely paid more for my car than I would have had it not been white. I have not seen many and suspect there weren't many made.

Yeah, looks nice too. Just wish your posts were more on the Speedriven performance updates rather than their cosmetic updgrades. Just have heard too many issues with their lack of responsiveness on performance parts and DELAYED or non existent delivery of those parts. I had hoped more of those having delivery issues were vocal on the forum. I think they fear the parts may never arrive if they speak out.

My upgrades this time around are just more cosmetic, this time around Im getting the intakes and also methenol injection which will be a dual nozzle kit going right before the turbos. I did my performance mods earlier which were rear tank, their IC pump, catless downpipes, and also the heat exchanger. I wanted to exhaust all possible cooling and airflow mods before going billet turbos and intercoolers. I never had any issues with Speedriven and even offered to help members on here that had issues to communicate. I will do intercoolers and billet turbos in June, before then I will run the car in the 1/4 and dyno it for #s and open a thread on gains. Some people like their cars to look a bit different and not like everyone else. This is an open forum so everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Hope that clears it up

Not sure why you mentioned this? It just seems that you are a poster boy for Speedriven products but the mods you are showing is nothing special in terms of Speedriven performance products. More of a pimp my ride that any place could do. Hey, nothing wrong with that and I like your mods..... just saying.

Make sure you dyno with the hood closed with the scorpion intakes. It will mimic the actual power the car will make in the real world sucking in crazy hot engine bay air.

Not sure why we are still on this topic since the thread has nothing to do with Speedriven or I didn't post a link on here to my build thread. I don't know how you missed the entire top part and just saw what I wrote at the bottom. How am I a poster boy for Speedriven? Because I like their proven tested V12 products? I didn't know that makes someone a poster boy.

Yes I will make sure to close my hood just for you and dyno the car with the 15mph fan in front of it. Do you think the intakes will make power on the dyno with a fan like that? As soon as the car will hit over 30MPH the air temps under the hood are not going to be what they are on the dyno with a home depot fan blowing at the front of the car.

Please take this to my build thread if you have anything more to say I don't think the OP cares about our conversation in this thread.

Let's all get along children!

Seriously though I understand BlownV8's frustration and all I could say is Speedriven is getting much better at answering customers request. I think they were overwhelmed at one time with demands from customers but are slightly improving. No one is perfect and we are all trying to make our cars go faster one way or the other.

Not that I don't like what you are saying, just responding and saying we can continue this in my thread if you would like. How can you knock a product (intakes) just because they don't make power on the dyno? I see them doing really well when Marko hit his 10.7. Anyway enough said, you can follow for updates on my HP and TQ #s once my car is done and also 1/4 mile track times. I will be hitting the track in early April with a goal of running a 10 second pass.

Thanks

No Apologies needed. It's cool with me. Let's get your beast finished and hit the track soon. I am dying to take mine but don't want to drive 4 hrs to MIR...seems my only choice though.

There is no track closer? I know MIR is a great track to run at most records are held at that track. My friend that has 2nd World Record for his C6 Vette may be planning a trip out to MIR to take the 1st place there. If he goes out there this year I will join him on the trip with my car as well. Hopefully you can come out then if I make it up there.

We have Etown and Atco, anything under 11.5 and they will give you a warning. If you go to these tracks the wait time is enormous to get 1 or 2 passes in the night. Not worth it. Much rather a private rental anyday.

Atco has rentals, occasionally. I ran my PB there, $200 for the day. There was roughly 10 cars, so you could run as much as you wanted.

Now that sounds good. You can prep run the car and see what it can do. We have 2 tracks locally here so I will run at both in April.

Sounds like a deal, we should get a track rental going somewhere for the weekend where member from all over can come. Would be a great event.

The last 2 times this was tried at MIR it rained out. In fact, a track day is/was scheduled for this Friday but there's rain in the forecast.

MIR rentals are a blast, but when you are coming from NY its a 5-6 hr trip. That turns into a really long day more like a hotel a sleep over at a hotel so it ends up costing more in the long run if your not local. If you are going to run your car close to stock take it to Englishtown and flirt with the 11.5 mark. I'd think street tires and stock tune will be hard to beat 11.5. At least you can get some base runs in without a long trip, but the long wait for a few runs still exists.

So much for keeping her stock

I tried, I really tried fellas.... Still missing one or two boxes.

With so many build threads its hard to stay of the drugs.

I will make a thread later on, as of now just enjoying the car, too busy with work to mess with anything.

Nice! LOL

I guess there is one person with less self-control than me when it comes to modding.
