V12 TT guys light weight battery?
Anyone using a light weight battery out of the V12 TT guys? I know a lot of 55k guys use the light weight batterynot sure if they will work on our cars.

Any options to save weight are great

I have one and might run it in the CL.

Approimately 12 lbs .

I have an 18lb Braille battery out of my c6z. It did a ****ty job of keeping a charge on that car, so I doubt it can't be good for my 600

SLK55 AMG - Renntech Supercharged
Mine had to be kept fully charged to start the old V6, and I never ran it as a replacement. If I was to run it, it would be strictly on track days.

I decided to go ahead and give it a try, but as I was hooking it up to the charger someone on my other forum bought it and the skinnes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. The battery and wheels have already been shipped.

I know someone mentioned before that a C6 Corvette Battery will do the work and its 35lbs lighter than the OEM ones we have. Any of you guys have an idea if this is true?
