Lower control arm replaced, check.

I was getting some squeaking up front and a strange clanking that was clearly abnormal, so while I was under the car the other day I inspected the bushings and found the lower driver's side to be in need of repair.

So after spending $110 shipped for a brand new OEM lower control arm from ebay and 90 minutes under the car this evening in my garage, the car is driving better than ever. No more squeaking or clanking.

Isn't it pretty?
