Tint Question - CL63

I just had my 08 CL63 tinted. I am extremely picky when it comes to the look of tint on a car. I did 20% all around and i asked for the same film ( obviously )

The car looks weird - The rear windows look almost green and the fronts look charcoal. The installer said this is because the factory windows are doubled in the rear???

What am i missing…

thats odd. i have 35% on side. has a nice light grey with hint of reflectiveness. rear is 5% all black with hints of purple(coming from the factory uv coating).

Im very confused - This tint shop is top notch. He swears he used all the same film and yet it does NOT match…

I'm out of the country & can't look at mine now to be sure, but both front & rear windows should be double pane glass. I'm positive the fronts are double pane.

You probably would have noticed, but there were reports of early W216 & W221's that were coming with mismatched window tints from the factory; that might be your culprit.
