You guys really think 130 traps? I think you guys may be off a bit. Seems like a big jump? My car made 619 and best I trapped was 124 maybe 125. Have you thought of keeping the stock tubes through the radiator? I kept mine because I didnt think I could replicate the contours of the factory.

I am using 2 45 degree pieces off the radiator is 3.5" to4" 45 the 4" 45 to level off straight on driver side. See pics above for passenger's side. You should be seeing more mph that.

I trapped 126-7 in my CL65 on the setup that dynod 574/684 so I think 130 is reasonable for the same car with 70 more RWHP.

I think he will trap 130 easy. He trapped 127.xx another 2-3 mph is definitely doable with this mod. If he adds an Ice reservoir, its almost a done deal.

Don't forget, he also added Catless downpipes WITH his cai. And he dyno tuned it to compensate for the new mods, so 130mph is not out of the question. Trunk res for $300 is a must at this point

You guys are such a bad influence!!!!! I guess we will see what kind of traps it has this winter. I sent the Dyno graph to Eurocharged since I really had no idea what to expect, with the tune based on the existing mods. Based on the power and A/F they were extremely impressed. So that was the SAME tune since last September when it dyno'ed 562whp and it will stay for now. I know dynos can be different, it was cooler for the latest numbers, but the gains are still significant. I will create a new thread once the intake is complete.

Can someone post a slip with those trap speeds. I would love to see why my car is only trapping 124's when it made 619 whp.

Mods were:
EC CU/TCU tunes
K&N filters
muffler delete
Quaife LSD
265/40-18 M/T's

I never dynod that setup, but my 574/684 setup ran between 2 & 3 mph faster:

Your answer is in your own post.. You wern't making 619 whp w/124 mph trap. Plenty of guys take the dynos they get as God's Word.. Trap speeds are the ONLY true litmus test of rwhp, dynos are constantly misrepresented by myriad of potential possibilities.

Edit: What were/are your mods? Was/is it ECU & race gas only? Only track data I could find on your 65 was this.. Is this the run you trapped 124 in?

Yes correct. Only thing I have added was LSD and cold air intake. My 60's where always 3 thenth slower so I can see the ET difference but I guess I dont expect my car to trap 6 mph faster. I will be so happy if it does though.
