Was driving a bit over the speed limit and came across a dip in the road. I got close to being airborne. I ruptured 2 of my accumulators, Both front units bit the dust. I had a spare new front, located on the driver side but am picking up the other Monday. No other ill effects beyond the two ruptured accumulators. Car drives harsher and has the typical 2 inches of sponginess when you compress the suspension.

It sounds like you hit your head on the ceiling... How many miles on your car? I'm wondering if its mostly a miles thing or age.

My recently acquired 115k mile 06 CL55's steering is sloppy. Could this be an accumulator issue? What and where are the accumulators?

I have a spare used unit for the front if needed! I also have 2 rears that I'm looking to let go cheap.

That would not be a problem with an accumulator.
Assuming your description is accurate / and you have some mechanical background. These cars are complicated as most newer car's are but the suspension on these cars being much different.

Nothing to do with accumulators. They're all sloppy. All you can do is check the universal joints and ball joints for play. Make sure you don't have any front toe-out.
