Help with IAT readings!

I got the PLX Kiwi 2 OBDII reader and I took my car for a drive to read the air intake temperatures. Driving on the hwy my IAT read around 20 degrees F above ambient, but when I let the car sit on idle, it got up to IAT: 124F and coolant: 203F when the ambient temperature was 45 F. Don't these IAT readings seem too high? I have the updated BOSCH 010 I/C pump and tested if it works prior to collecting the readings.

Does anyone know why my IAT is so high on idle? and is 20 degree above ambient while driving too high or is that a good range?

Also, after I let the car idle and the IAT got up to 124 i got a diagnostic code P0128 "Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below thermostat regulating temperature). Any help/guidance would be great. Thank you.

Bosch 010 pump, all catalytic converters deleted, resonator deleted

124 is not high at idle, even in 45* weather. Remember that the sensor is mounted in an engine that is 200*. At idle there is very little air flow throught the intercoolers so the intake will get hotter and hotter the longer it sits at idle.

Thank you for the response. What you say makes senss, it's just weird because i always read on the forums that the temperature should hold 15 degrees above ambient which got me worried because my temperatures on idle are obviously alot higher than that.

Also, does anyone have any idea about the code error? I don't even have a problem with the car not heating up quickly.
