Hit Pothole Hard Now Clunking/Popping From Driver Front
I hit a pothole the other night and now I am getting a popping/clunking noise when I brake. I got under there to look and did notice what looks to be a power steering leak that's new from the last time I was under there which was not long ago. I don't know if the two are related. There is no visible issues with bushings or ball joints. All of which are new as of the last month. I am not seeing anything glaring so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
Whelp, in doing some further inspection I noticed that the bushing seems to have separated from the upper control arm. Going to try and put it back into place this evening.
Irritating part....the control arm isn't even 3 months old! Good thing its under warranty!
Annnnnd, that's what it was. Replaced it and all is right in the Benz world again. Except for the damn vibration I still have but that's another story.
