Cl600 hesitation on acceleration

Cl600 hesitation on acceleration
Car seems like it bucks/hesitates upon acceleration. No codes are showing. Was told could be possible torque converter issue. Anyone have any symptoms like this? Car is 05 cl600 with 90,000 miles(trans rebuilt @ 70,000 miles)

Does it seem the same in every gear? If you shift it manually, does it still happen? Is it always at a similar RPM range?

Yes every gear and throughout the whole rpm range. Seems more prominent at lower speeds. On the highway, car cruises at 65-75mph with no issues. I will try it manually and see if it does it.

Have you had the coil packs changed on the car? Wondering if they could potentially be causing a mis-fire although I would have thought that would have thrown a code...
Have a similar issue with my other car (Jag X-Type V6), one of the coil packs was shorting out and causing a mis-fire, occured more noticably at 2 > 3k/rpm. Unfortunately, the misfire also burnt out the catalytic converter so it is getting a new one of those too.

*Update*
Brought car to the shop for diagnosis. Did trans service as fluid was dirty-(no fragments found in pan). Car is not hesitating in 1st gear anymore, in manual mode or drive. Also under hard acceleration- it just goes. After it hits 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th gear it's hesitation time at normal cruising speed. They have two possible answers: bad tcu from being oil fouled. They cleaned it and reinstalled with no cure. They are 80% sure this is the problem. If not it might be torque converter, but they rarely if ever have tc issues. Car had new plugs/coils 20kmiles ago-no signs of misfires. No codes from cats, but if they're bad I'll just go catless down pipes. Taking car back to shop this Monday for tcu swap.

FCP euro has a nice trans service kit with the conductor plate and connector, both common failure points on the 722.6 trans. It could be that, or it could be your converter. Try the stuff that doesn't require pulling the trans first.
