CL63 2009 FUEL SENDER UNIT
HAS ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE? I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THE FUEL SENDER UNIT HAS TO BE REPLACED AND THE TANK INSULATION PAD IS SATURATED WITH FUEL AND MUST BE REPLACED. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WOULD NOT BE COVERED. MY VEHICLE HAS ONLY 53,000 MILES ON IT AND BEING AN '09 ITS OUT-OF WARRANTY. SINCE THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT SHOULDN'T THEY COVER THIS?

Welcome please post picture of your ride. Call MB USA and see what they say. It is hard to get MFG to admit to a mfg defect. Good luck
