Tire pressure monitors and new wheels?
I'm getting a new set of wheels and tires, and will be saving my stock rims and tires for now.
What are my options as far as the pressure monitoring system? Can I pick up four additional sensors and have them mounted in the wheels?
Can I somehow disable the monitoring so it at least doesn't read a malfunction?

You can buy 4 new sensors from Mercedes. However, they may not work in the new wheel. What kind of wheels did you end up getting ?
The sensor is basically a unit that incorporates the valve stem into it as well.

The vehicle can be hooked up to DAS and told that TPM does not exist. This will shut the system off and make it so you won't see it on the MFD.
I am pretty sure you can add sensors into the wheels you bought however if you want to keep the TPM active.
