What happened? What was going on just before this error showed up? Have you scanned all the modules for other codes? that might point to what is not right.
This message seems to be from the start/run authorization/activation (anti-theft)SYSTEMS&DEVICES There is a multitude of connections, devices, position switches, car specific modules etc. that can cause such a message. From a weak main battery or the battery in the key fob to failure of the main engine computer module. If you have 'keyless entry' there are many MORE potential fault generation devices, from door HANDLE POSITION microswitch etc.
You MIGHT be able to 'reboot' the system by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and re-connecting. You will then have to 're-learn' all the movable device position memories and switches. Look in your manual for directions.
IF these simple diagnostics do not point to the cause, I do not know and I strongly suggest a competent MBZ electronics GURU that has and is well experienced in using the MB Dealer level diagnostics and Work Instruction System. (WIS) This may be a Dealer Only situation for resolution. Good Luck
