New round CL65 Fog Lights

Are the fog lamps on the 65, aside from being round, different from those on the 55? I rarely use mine, as the Xenons project an amazing illumination pattern, so have no idea of the optimization that the fog lamps offer. For those who have not experienced the light pattern of the CL, it is worht checking out on a very dark, isloated country road. Not only does it project efficiently in front on low, but projects to the sides as well. Of course, the high beams are extremely bright. Whenever I drive a rental when I travel, it astounds me how the vast majority of drivers are deprived of better illumination.

From the production cars we have seen, it appears Mercedes choose to stick with the same fog lights as used on all CL's. I still think the round ones are rather unique.
