Does the CL55 also have the notorious w215 speedometer issues?

2002 CL500 to CL55 conversion
Does the CL55 also have the notorious w215 speedometer issues?
i bought my car as a 2002 CL500, with the 2002 CL55 engine swap I would eventually like to upgrade the speedometer to one from a CL55. My car had the speedometer recall done in the 2000’s. Now it is starting to flicker and dim unexpectedly
From what I’ve researched this is a common issue, I see there are repair services on eBay and such. however im unsure if this was largely a CL500/cl600 issue, or if it also was common with the cl55 models as well. If the speedometer needs rebuilt I would hate to know once the speedometer is installed

I had mine repaired by a seller on ebay- they did a fantastic job and the turn around time was only a day.
