2005 cl55
I got interested in looking at an 80k mile ‘05 cl55. Just a couple of issues. The current owner had to replace a dead battery and now the SRS light goes on, the rear windows shade won’t operate, and the doors won’t lock. He claims that the battery needs “reprogrammed”. Does this make sense to anyone on this forum.

These cars are getting older and arthritis creeps up on them. Some things you will have to live with or pay big money to fix. There are a few resets that you have to do after a battery replacement. IE sunroof, power windows, etc. check the owner's manual for details. The door locks are air operated I believe. Take it to an MB dealer for a full inspection and estimate. It will be a good way to make the informed decision or bargain on the price.
