why would anyone even attempt to buy a CL right now if we all know that a new body style is just around the corner? What would be some reasons?

They like the current body style and don't want to wait.

lol, I used to be in LOVE w/the pre-2000 cl's, but if I had bought one of those in '99, I would have been REALLY PISSED bcs the 2000 models were soooo much nicer in every way (which was hard to imagine before they came out!!)...I'm sure this will be the case for the 2006s when they come out...

Because the bugs would be all worked out and you would have the classiest coupe every made. Id buy new CL in a heartbeat. What if you dont like the new bodystyle? what if it is cheaply made and not as classy as the current one?

To me, the C215 is the most beautiful benz ever made. Could be possible for MB to top it, but I really doubt it.. classy but still sporty..

thats what I thought about the old CL, but then they came out with the 215 I have faith in MB the new CL will probably make this one look old and outdated

only amg
you would have to be a damn fool

well hows about 5000 in dealer cash and invoice, that would be reason enough for most, new body styles in most benz cars has not really effected the values of previous styles, setting aside the sl-class, it is my opinion that miles hurt more than bodystyle changes.

i would buy C215 even in 2005. Waiting for next model looks for me somehow risky. Present model still looks good, has great and acceptable(!!) quality, is very classy, has good performance, no major bugs, etc... so why wait 2!! years for next generation?? To be surprised?? Maybe it won't satisfy us, and then what?? 2 years of waiting, saving money, preparing garage ... all useless...
If nothing goes wrong i'm going to buy a new c215 CL600

yes i understand everything everyone is saying but we all say this and that,, but u know when a new body style comes out,, it takes a while for people to get used to it, and when they do,, it just grows on you and the older model looks very outdated, for example look at the 99 S class,, we all thought that was the best looking benx zround,, then when the 2000 S class came out it took a while for us to get ued to it because it was new,, but after that,, we couldnt even look at the older s classes,, All im saying is,, if I know a new body style is bout 1 - 2 years away,, i will not commit my self into a new one becasue i know i will be in between my lease contract dieing to get out of it beacuse other people are gauking at the new body ,, and the one im paying 1500 a month for is simply out of style,, it will **** me off,,

that is why i purchased an 04 clk becasue i know im good for atleast another 4-5 years,,

True...

the new benzes make the old ones look like bland boxes LOL. But the CL should go atleast another 6 years. It still has that modern MB look.

Still 1.5-2 years to go until it will hit the SHOWROOMS...

In 2 year many things could change...so if you have the $$$ why not enjoy CL NOW...
