recommend best CL63 years to buy
In the market for a used CL63. [Wanted a 65 but the 63 seems "better" (fun, handling, trans, cost, reliability, availability - with similar acceleration)].
Advice on what to buy wrt best model years for performance & reliability, styling, features? Is there a better year for the MCT trans?

I am on my 2nd CL63 and both were 2008 naturally aspirated. The first one was purchased new in May 2007 and the most recent was acquired in 2018 with 32000 miles. 2008 and 2009 featured the first engines designed totally by AMG with 518 hp and the sound of a blood & guts V8. Granted, the turbos are quicker but 2008 is the real deal. The second CL63 has only 34000 miles now but I ran the first one over 50k with only the usual MB AMG issues - no major problems. Regardless of which year you eventually acquire, it will be one of the most gorgeous Benzes on the street! Enjoy! CL63 May 2018
