I would like to get a quote for parts and labor to change a bad radiator to a new one and also to flush & change/service the hydraulic fluid for the suspension system for a 2003 Mercedes CL 600 and would like to have an idea what to expect beforre I speak with a mechanic.

There is no site for that, you are dreaming
Here in a professional account, I printed you the radiator, this is for a 2003 Mercedes CL 600
The ABC fluid change should not take longer than 90 minutes and requires Xentry or a scanner that does Rodeo mode

I thought that all mechanics had a book or informative website that would shows typical hours for tasks. I had a mechanic quote me 2.6hrs for flushing the htdraulic system twice @ $325 and 6.8 hrs. to replace the radiator @ $850 Laborplus parts. This was at a labor rate of $125 hrly. I thought this was a bit high

Thanks for posting

So you have no opinion on those costs if there normal or high? It really takes almost 6 hrs to rplace a radiator on the CL 600?

Woww..........Thats super cheap. Its a totally different drivetrain and the V12 Bi Turbo has many more components stuffed in the engine compartment but still $70? You can't live in Southern California where the shop rents are extremely high compared to many other states. What state do you live in? Is your mechanic your son in law or other relative? You are a lucky guy!

Thats awesome . So your actually there while he is doing the work whhich keeps them honest. Is he Mercedes only or does many brands? Thats my dream retirement to have some acres of land in a normal cost effective area with at least a 5,000 square foot shop with all my CNC machines and woodworking machinery and a garage to store a few cars. Retirement like that would be nice.

This current mechanic works on Mercedes only but I have another one that "fixed" my bmw, we did a whole head gasket swap in my garage lol. Yes it does keep them "honest" sometimes it even hard to understand when you are there. The retirement plan sounds good but I want that before I turn 25.
