Front Body Panel Material
Hello all, I was noticing that the front body panels of my CL63 are not magnetic. I assume they are made of aluminum but wondered if anyone knew for sure. I have searched and found nothing specific to say one way or the other.

The bracket fastener sections of the fender do not look like plastic (too thin). I know there are many kinds of plastic so it would be interesting if that is the case (FRP or CRP). Mr. Tracy, you say aluminum and I tend to agree although I have no proof. Considering the use of an alloy other than steel I am surprised to see nothing referring to the "light weight" materials being used on the CL. Heavens know that it needs all the help it can get.
