Has anyone installed an upgraded ECU tune on their CL63? Own a 2012 CL63 AMG (pic attached) and have been researching different ECU tunes. I've found Weistec, RENNTech, and MHB Motorsports - looking for any information (drivability, throttle response, durability, etc). How is the tip in throttle control? Throws any codes? Any information would be appreciated.

I have thought about tunes but unlikely to do one. Car is plenty fast and really want the reliability but I just may be conservative in that respect.
I would start slowly and read the posts (especially the W212 forum), it is tempting but there are issues.
I have a CLS550. Not an AMG but it's tuned by Weistec, full exhaust, intake, etc. I haven't had a single code or issue since it was tuned almost 2 years ago. Not even a sparkplug problem. Starts every single time without issue. The power is exactly what you're hoping the car was from the factory. The throttle isn't any extra sensitive. You just need less to do more. I can go from a red light and be at 80mph on the freeway in seconds. And with half the throttle. The power is effortless and the delivery is smooth but very fast. My car easily runs through the speedo, theoretically, 😁
