Intake Issues
I have an 09 CL63. I started getting the rough idle. I ordered the replacement plate for the intake manifold because I know they are prone to corrosion. Then I found a screaming deal on Ebay for one off a C63 with less than 60K; it looks new... I'm still going to cahnge out the plate. If someone can use mine, its available... I plan to switch it out this week. Any tips will be appreciated.
Ok, I changed it out and I learned a few things. 1) To change the manifold is quite easy. It took about an hour each way.
2) The injectors were toast. I'm glad I bought a set from FCP.
3) My problem actually wasn't my manifold. It was my drivers side MAF
4) A bad MAF will make your car run bad randomly. (Check engine light every now and then)
