I have a 2008 CL63. It’s been n he was t conditioned having few issues over the past five years that I’ve owned it. In fact, the only thing that has had to be repaired was the radiator and a/c compressor, miraculously. The M156 motors are actually very reliable given frequent oil changes and the correct oil.
in any event, the car has received performance enhancements from Eurocharged Dallas which includes MHB longtube headers, stage 2 ECU tune and stage 2 TCU tune which gives the car 610 wheel hp. The problem now are the number of motormounts that I’ve gone through over the past five year due to the amount of torque that car now puts out. Why does AMG not manufacture and sell solid motormounts like Domestic car performance shops do? It’s incomprehensible why AMG would manufacture a motor which puts out so much power (M156) and did not factor in building motormounts which could sustain the output..
