2008 CL65 40th Anniv. For Sale

I am pleasantly shocked that the previous owner put a decent amount of mileage (11K+) on the car.

I have to admit...the one thing I am jealous of on the newer W216s are the much nicer switch gear/buttons. I love the aluminum look/fee. l swear some of the buttons on my 2005 CL65 are the same ones on my parent's old '86 420SEL.

My parents had that one followed by 90 400SEL, 97 S420 My '05 really looks similar. the '08 interior is lightyears ahead.

Be wary of this car. VMI shows customer retention/trade allowance, which usually means it was a lemon or MB buyback.

Interesting. Although, with the type of customer who blows $300K on a model that really costs $200K (but for the 40th Anniv. plaque)...they might try to keep them very happy. Including buying him out with a "credit" toward a future model (maybe an SLS?).

Very pretty car, I love the interior.

Although to be honest, with the speed these depreciate I think it's always worth it to wait a little bit..even if it is a special edition.

No clue on that one. If that were the case, I would think the dealer would over allow on a trade or something, not use a customer retention/allowance.

Regardless

To spend $100k more for a color/anniversary edition....NO WAY

That car will be like all the rest and will just be another CL65 in a year or so
and it will be worth less then $100k easy
