Got my Resonators deleted...Confused now

Got my Resonators deleted...Confused now
got my resonators deleted this morning and replaced with a 3" straight pipe. Car sounds amazing, however I had a couple questions because I am a newbie to all this.
The muffler guy was surprised when he looked under my car. He said that I already had two crossover pipes, and adding a third x-pipe to my car would be pointless.
I have marked the two crossover pipes with a red arrow and left the resonators unmarked.
Where are all you CL55 owners placing those x-pipes? Do I even need one? What would you advice on getting my secondary cats removed? If someone could point me in a nice setup that is loud, but not too obnoxiously loud it would be awesome

I just made this in paint. Please excuse the primitive drawing methods but thought Id share with you...
This would be a good way to get rid of the 2ndary cats while adding an X pipe. As you can see this method will also delete the Crossover H pipe at the top. AAA Exhausts will be able to do this setup for you.

Another question X-pipe vs. H-pipe which one out of these to are more beneficial to the car/performance/sound...etc?
Is there that much more gains to the X-pipe, may it be better flow, hp, or performance... etc?

theory is x-pipe will give you some back pressure therefore you won't loose torque..
H-pipe is less back pressure..
no man, still have the auto couture on it..

An X Pipe is more efficient because it allows the air flow paths to naturally merge between both banks. Air coming down one path of the X can follow a natural path to go down either leg of the X. With an H, air has to make a 90 degree angle to change paths. Both will help even pressure between banks, but the X does it much more efficiently.
That said, the difference is not huge.
