How to: Change your spark plugs *Video* with part numbers/tools list, etc

MAKE SURE to push in the metal plug boots all the way until you hear the click sound. It takes quite alot of force to do so, but if you don't then they will not seat correctly.




If you look at the heads, you will see Mercedes has given us a nice alpha diagram (A, B, C, D, E). The plug boots have this letter on them to indicate location.
Also, if your going through the process of changing plugs, test your resistance on the plug wires. When I changed mine at 100,000 miles, the resistance on some of the plug wires was high.
I ended up replacing the enter wire set as well.
Also, a little dab of DI-electric grease on the spark plug or smeared on the inside of the boot will help ease of installation as well as DE-installation the next time you need to pull the boot.
I also use a dab of anti-size on the spark plug threads.

also there are different styles of plug wires, there's a Beru brand which is also OEM but the 16mm mercedes spark plug wire tool wont work. hope this helps someone before they get upset at the tool they ordered, and wont work...
