Speedriven Billet BOVs
Mercedes’ turbocharged engines produce smooth, understated power from the factory and have been tuned to simply staggering degrees of performance. The most extreme of these tuned turbo Benzes have a very distinctive sound thanks to the use of aftermarket blowoff valves- now, however, you can upgrade the look and sound of your biturbo Mercedes-Benz with these billet aluminum blowoff valves from Speedriven.
Speedriven’s billet aluminum blowoff valves are machined from aircraft-grade material and are direct, bolt-on replacements for the factory BOVs (which are made of plastic). Once installed they offer superior durability compared to the factory units, while also serving to give your twin-turbo Mercedes’ engine bay a more aggressive look and sound.
Speedriven’s billet blowoff valves are available now from $250 (US) for Mercedes-Benz 600 biturbo V12 and 65 series AMG models, and come in a spectrum of anodized finishes, or simple raw aluminum.
Speedriven billet BOVs for S600, SL600, CL600, S65 AMG, SL65AMG, and CL65AMG.

I assume the stock units recirculate?
Is there any evidence that the plastic ones leak under boost? With a MAP system you'd never see evidence of it except lost power on the top end.
In my past life as a DSM owner (7-8 first gens and two Stealth TTs) we'd toss the plastic BOVs for metal ones to eliminate the leak.

This is what happens to the stock valves. The rubber diaphragm cracks and leaks, and the pipe connector can be broken off if you're clumsy, but the plastic moulding is usually OK. I really don't see much point in a metal one.

Nope.. Sadly didn't get them yet.. sometimes shipping to Canada has delays with the border and stuff.. also speedriven had some issues getting them back from paint.. Hopefully they show up this week sometime and I can get them installed by or on the weekend if I am not held up elsewhere. I leave town for a few weeks in a week so really hoping to have them on b4 and I will post up a video..

They are still in the package on a shelf in my garage.. I have purchased a Lamborghini Gallardo so I havent really been too worried about not having these on.. But since I saw this hopefully Speedriven can help us out and we can install these..
