Abc to coilover thread

I converted my abc suspension that went bad to the yellow speed europe coilovers on my 05 cl600.

I spent in total about $1020 for everything needed to complete the conversion (doing all the labor myself)
The remove and install is simple i just followed the steps in the strutmasters coilover install video on youtube

The yellowspeed coilovers do not come with brass caps
That show on the strutmasters video i got some at a local hardware store really cheap

And for the warning light i pulled fuses f46 and f9 amd the red goes away and turns into a regular white screen and goes away into youre messages and you're able to scroll through everything

Heres some pics of how it sits now im going for a "stance" build its sitting on 19x9 in the front and 19x11 on the rear

I have all the shocks set to max stiff for no rubbing its still a comfy
Ride

Excellent and thanks for sharing!
Please do keep us updated on driving experience as you put some miles on the new set up.

You wouldn't happen to be in the Bay Area would you?

Excellent swap. I'm doing YellowSpeed coilovers for my 06 CL55 AMG. Did you use spacers on the 11" wide rear wheels? My goal is to place 305's on rear without rubbing. She wears Rennen's 8.5" front 9.5" rear.

Abel AMG, did you go with the Yellow Speed heavier rate springs or the standard rate?

I am going for 8Kg upgrade
as I am really using the 714hp on the roads here in Europe I was unsatisfied with the 20k front
I have a specialist building springs in the UK and so have him build 28kg front and same amount per original upgrade rear

I will be selling my spring soon and they would be perfect rate for CL55-500 as for those engines yellowspeed ships with 14jg front and 10 rear

Awesome! Please report your findings with the 8k increase in spring rate as well as the specs of the springs so a U.S. spring manufacturer may build to our specs too. My 625 bhp 06 CL55 AMG has the Yellow Speed Sport 20k front 14k rear. The rear subframe bushings were shot, allowing the rear of the body to bounce off the chassis. Yesterday new rear sub-frame bushings were placed in, picking car up today. Will report findings.
