I added a accumulator to the dead-end ABC line. Thought I might see if it helps the main hose to the pump. Had a hose made to connect just past the "U" turn in the dead-end line. I fitted the accumulator at the end of the hose located in the front lower section of the driver fender.

That's a good idea. You're adopting something like the W221 configuration with an accumulator on the pump outlet.

Thinking out loud, I wonder if we could actually use a W221 pump on the W220?
