Multiple misfires at startup

This morning start my 2003 cl600 and feel a bad vibration, check engine light is on, and smells like bad combustion...

never had had any of these symptoms before, engine ran perfectly, restarted and same thing

here are codes

p0300
p0307
p0311
p0309
p0312
p0308
p0310
p0153

Ok, so it’s drivers side bank, and oxygen sensor in cat (I think)

So, what do you guys think, coil pack? Voltage transformer, or simply the oxygen sensor ( I’m not that lucky lol)

this happens right away at startup, instantly. Parked the car it was fine, next day at startup instant misfires

thanks

What kind of weather you have there? When did you last get gas? Suspect bad fuel before jumping on the pricey stuff.

Thanks for the reply,

I filled the tank to 3/4 4 days prior, and the morning of the problem I was at 1/4. Car ran fine during all this period, even under hard acceleration.

So i don’t think it’s the fuel

How about the weather in the area? If you are down south and are experiencing lots of rain and humidity that could contribute to the problem. In older cars it was a huge issue with the ignition systems of the day.

I tried to contact V12icpack to rent a voltage transformer for testing, but haven’t had any reply, does anyone know if they are still in business?

Edit----Got in touch with V12icpack, ordered a voltage transformer, I'll fallow up when I install the part

sounds like a failing fuel pump or clogged filter. fuel problems will trigger tons of codes all of the sudden that seem otherwise unexplainable. my dad always said it best, motors need three things to run - air, spark and fuel. start with the basics IMO

Today I received the voltage transformer, installed it but problem persists

So I will drop it off at the dealership, can anyone tell me if I can drive without causing any damage even though only 6 of 12 cylinders work?

thats a fairly loaded question

one may argue mercedes already implemented a cylinder deactivation feature on these cars in the past

on the other hand, basic engine mechanics suggest “dry” firing a cylinder is not good for it

Got the car flatbeded to dealer; diagnosis is a bad coil pack, one week to get the part

I’ll keep you posted...
