Picked my CLA35 yesterday! Wow!
After losing my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia on April 6 to a T-bone accident, I did a bunch of research and settled on the 2020 Cla35 amg. Picked it up yesterday and wow, what a car! Great acceleration and sound for a 4cyl. The interior is futuristic and functional, it looks great and drives even better. The only really disappointing thing is that you have to pay for evert little option which really drives the price up. Mine was moderately optioned and came in at $53,365. Negotiated 7.5% off sticker. It's Mojave silver metallic with the night package, Burnester Sound, AMG drive unit, a few others but for almost 54k,things like Sirius radio and heated seats should be part of the base vehicle. Oh well, I'm beyond thrilled with this car. It's my first Mercedes and I do like it better than my Alfa and even my previous Audi S3. If anyone has some good settings to get the most out of the Burnester system please let me know. If you're on the fence about this car I recommend it, you won't be disappointed if your looking for a car in this class.

The ride quality is excellent. I did not get the adjustable suspension but thru 200 miles on backroads and highways I find it tight but not so tight that it's uncomfortable. Steering wheel feel is a little numb, not as much feedback as my Alfa had. Overall very pleased.

My Alfa had no such issues at all. Steering had great feedback and amazing control around corners. No shakes or shimmies, drove steady and true in all modes.

Congrats on your new MB. I wish you many happy miles. I have to agree with you on the price. MBs have really gone up significantly in price. My W201 was about 40% less in price than your CLA. How times have changed. I'm glad I bought when I did. I still do like hearing about and following the new MB models.

Beautiful car, congrats!
How does the steering feel and sound system compare to the Guilia you had? Did you have the H/K upgraded sound on the Giulia?
