Carlsson CLA45 with 450 HP?
This one sounds fishy. No details aside from a claimed ecu upgrade.
Not sure what to think as Carlsson is generally considered a serious/dependable tuner.

Kind of worried? A guy in Taiwan on Mercedescla.org installed a tune and is now searching for a new engine. He doesn't even have a 45 which as we all know makes 26psi stock! That's insane from the factory. How much more pressure can the engine take for an extended period without impacting long term reliability?

It's quite simple. Get a tune from a company with a reliable history. The only reason to be scared is if you don't know what you're doing, in which case, DON'T DO ANYTHING.
Seriously, it's not hard. Mercedes/AMG isn't going to build an engine like this without leaving play room for safety purposes and for warranty reasons too. Longevity is expected out of these cars from their buyers. It makes no sense to push an engine to the limits of it's stress management immediately.
Same rules have applied to all their other cars. I'd bet my soon-to-be engine this car is no different.

Carlsson back their products with a 3-year/30,000 mile warranty on their tunes & products, including this car.

I only tune my bikes because I can easily afford a rebuild or replacement if I push them too much. I'd hate to find out the cost to replace an AMG engine because I wanted to shave a few tenths off a quarter mile. I'll save that for a non-daily driver with a cage or a wheelie bar.
Trust what the Carlson or Dinan or whomever performance company says, maybe it'll last for the duration you own the car. But I guarantee it is detrimental to the longevity of the engine/drivetrain, and good luck to anyone with a warranty other than the original manufacturers when it comes to bolt on or tuned in performance. It may get handled, but not without a hassle.

Please point me to a Carlsson warranty that clearly applies to products sold in the United States that is subject to US laws and jurisdiction -- not just products sold/installed by Carlsson in the EU and Switzerland that is subject to the German Civil Code and Commercial Courts.

I'll be here all week.
And no, it doesn't say or implies that said warranty is limited to any country. Problem is no one ever wants to shell out the cash to actually do it right.

There is no warranty at the link you provided. You provided a link to a marketing piece on the CLA that says their parts have a 3yr warranty. Show me the actually warranty. BMW says it offers a 4yr/48mos new car warranty...but that statement isn't the warranty smart guy.

Quoted from said page:
"Carlsson offers a three-year warranty on all their conversions and parts. With fitting done by an accredited specialist workshop, the factory warranty is unaffected, and Carlsson guarantees all its own parts in full."
You want a warranty contract? Contact Carlsson. I've got better things to do with my time.

I'm not going to give you a primer on common law vs. civil law and I can't help it if you don't understand how contracts work. All I'm telling you is that your expectations are off and your understanding is wrong.
