Test drive
Test drove it this morning. It was really comfortable and roomier than i thought. Looks much better in person too. The Mountain Gray one has the sport package.
Sorry...having problems uploading pic...I'll try again later.

It's not even on the mbusa.com site yet.
Was this part of some special/press event?
Regardless, congrats. Pics and impressions are forthcoming, I assume?

Well I didn't expect it to be really that fast but it was quick for what it is. I didn't notice any lag at all. The ride was pretty good...it's a nice car. I can't wait for the AMG to arrive. I have to wait longer because the "night styling" package & the Recaro seats aren't available until mid January.

Thanks!
How'd it look? My build is for second decade in November and my salesman told me that CF is not available anymore, guess they're running low? Either way I'm going with Black Ash.

Looked really good. I ordered the black ash myself. My dealer told me today that they aren't meeting the demand and that I might not get my car until May.

Drove the CLA250 this past weekend:
Good:
Well Build
Bad:
can feel this is a four cylinder as it putts putts & then turns on.
Can feel the body is flimsier than other Benzes - road imperfections will come through
Black just eats up all the angles & curves
Really needs backup camera to help with smallish windows & big blindspots.

I test drove a CLA 250 yesterday that was a bare bones model. I was impressed with the seats, the overall size of the car, and the way the base model handled on a short test drive. I just wanted the size comparison to my S4 and love the demensions of the car already. Can not wait to see the CLA45 AMG in person, and feel the power this car can deliver for myself. I'm not buying until next summer, so I will have a the opportunity to take advantage of all of the press and comparisons with the S3, if Audi can get that car to the US by late spring, 2014.

I agree. That's why i ordered the trunk spoiler. They had one on one of the cars I test drove & you're right...it completes the rear of the car.

Drove the CLA250 also, I am shocked even the base model has the same dual clutch transmission. That's the first time a non AMG has ever has such a nice transmission. I guess it was cheaper to just use the same transmission then retrofit an auto. That also explains why the gas mileage is so good (no fuel robbing torque converter).
FWD torque steer was definitely apparent, and power was not amazing, but the super sporty transmission made up for it which its lightening quick shifts. Why in the world anyone would ever buy a C-class anymore now that the CLA DCT is here is beyond me (for a good $8-10k less too)

I don't think the next C will get the DCT, it will likely get the 9 speed auto instead. I don't know if the 9 speed or the DCT is better but Mercedes will be pushing out the 9 speed instead of the DCT.
