They are 235/35/19 or 235/40/18.. no dry sump so stay away from anything like hoosier r6.. I've always been a fan of yokohama advan ad08 and the new star spec 2 dunlop direzzas have been out.
I have a set of 245/35/19 Advans from my boxster..wonder if that will work.. only 1 though..staggered vs square setup

The Direzza Z2s are the best street tire money can buy for the track. Only downside is they are slightly heavier tires (which has adverse effect on ride handling on unsmooth roads). The reason they ride stiffer and weigh slightly more though is bc the sidewalks are incredibly stiff. However, for that same reason they also have tremendously good steering feedback (well worth it in my opinion).

I'm going to run out the tires that come with it on a few track days and then put some winters/all seasons on the 19" wheels and see if I can get some light 18's with the dunlops on them

I have the Dunlop Z1 on my Boxster S for road use but never tried them at the track. Are the Z2 much different & do they produce the correct size for the 19" rims.

Actually no...tirerack isn't showing them available in the 19 in 235 or 245 /35/19... however the advan ad08 and ad08R does... plus the toyo r888..which I love.
Probably have to go 18 to get the dunlops

Z2 dunlops have even more grip and supposedly run even wider. Yes the one limitation they has is they only come in 18s (minus two sizes in 19s). If you are getting 18" track wheels or got the 18" wheels standard then I recommend getting the Z2s. For 18s, the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are probably best option.

My CLA 45 has arrived with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT (race technology). Has anyone experienced them before?
An option that will fit once these have worn out is the new Dunlop Sport Maxx Race they now use on the new Porsche GT3. Have you heard any pluses or minuses.
