I totally concur. I am waiting or the right moment I saved $12000 from MSRP when I purchased my new C63 AMG back in 09. I can wait a few more months.

What i don't understand is the people on this fforum saying that they prefer to wait for the 2015 model, my question is why?

Yeah, but this latest & greatest is boasting serious numbers *with* unheard of fuel economy. I don't think this car's going to necessarily follow the same rules. Remember when the '03 SL500 had a 2-3 year list?

Definitely no wait list in the Washington DC area. I've contacted 2 dealers and both have allocation and one of which actually has a car coming in with similar specs to what I would order that isn't spoken for. I'm told they'll start hitting the dealer lots the last week of November.

My Iowa Dealership placed their order in September and still have not been given a build month for their Allocation. I had put my name behind their allocation and switched the car to my specs, nothing fancy, just a white car with brown leather and pano roof... still no date...nothing, nada, zilch...so I just jumped to a car they traded for and I'll have a completely opposite car by mid December, Night black w/MB-Tex Dinamica that's already at port.......

This simply isn't true at least in Nova, the dealer I work for has two coming in. A generic red one with few options which is sold and waiting at the port for official release and mine which is fairly optioned out and is just out of production waiting on shipping as we speak. My sales manager told me you cannot place an order until 2014 at this point

I got the call on Thursday and went in to do my build the next day. They gave me a build date in April and say it should be here the end May or beginning of June. Bigger news first one (SOLD) will be at my local dealership this week. As of Saturday it was at the VPC in Long Beach, CA.

Who knows....The 2 dealers I talked to claimed to have allocation(which supposedly they just recently got) and one of them has one at port that is not sold. Doesn't surprise me that dealers say different things. That kind of nonsense has been going on for years. The car below is available which is supposed to be release the last week of November.

Well my dealer is in the "Tysons" area lol, and that seems to be almost my exact build but its $200 off. It just got out of production on 11/15 and is awaiting shipping.

I guess I am lucky my build doesn't have rear air bags. Maybe they thought I wasn't going to take delivery

Still waiting for my build date. Ordered early Oct '13. Was told not to expect my car till April '14. I am first in line for Feb/Mar allocation though. Given the delays in parts I will not be surprised if I get pushed to June '14.

Okay so my Tyson's area dealer has two unspoken for allocations with delivery dates in March and April, both orders are changeable to whatever spec you want. Let me know if anybody is interested !!
