How much have you guys gotten off MSRP?
#4
I bought mine during a sale and my family also knew the salesman. I got 4k+ and some change off of MSRP. Goodluck getting a fat discount As long as you don't special order it and whatever, I think you should be fine getting about 1-2 off if you're lucky.

Around 4k plus 1k off of extended warranty. Plus my kbb value for a good condition 335i was around 335i 17500 and my car was in horrible condition a lot missing. They said 1700 on the trade in. Went to 17500. All in all my brother got an amazing deal tbh

Nice work! Where are you located? My local dealer was pretty easy to work with but A LOT of other dealers I spoke with were only willing to go down $500. I laughed at them and just bought local.

I'm im socal. We got 1.99 apr and all that. My family and my cousins family have bought 4 cars from there. Plus might get my w205 c63 from them. Great dealer to work with.

Cool, which dealership down there? I'm north of the Grape Vine and bought mine in Bakersfield. C63 sounds like fun. I'm going to try to hold out on my next on until I can get the CLS63 S.

Our families usually buy from Mercedes Benz in Anaheim or Fletcher Jones. I prefer Anaheim though. Smaller dealership. More willing to sell at discounted rate.

You are lucky, best I can do so far is MSRP.
Not one dealer in my area has one unclaimed. If I could get 4k off, that would make the decision of this over the S3 much easier.

Also tryna decide between this and s3....i am leaning towards the S3 because of better transmission and AWD, and cheaper. But if this comes down to a similar price I'd seriously consider one because its cooler and I prefer Benz over Audi :p

So the advantages of the S3 for me are:
10K less
Will have an abundant aftermarket
Mod friendly (Tune only sub 4.0 0-60)
Magnetic Suspension
Is it crazy I'd still rather have the AMG?

I get special pricing on the S3, so it makes the price difference between the two about 10K.

It is, but not by much. The new S3 has seen high 12's stock, and the E888 engine really responds to mods well. The GTI with a smaller turbo gained 13MPH from just a tune in the 1/4. 97mph vs 110mph. Can only imagine what the S3 will do with it's larger turbo.
I expect the difference to not be as drastic, as I expect the S3 to have a more aggressive tune from the factory compared to the GTI.
The closest data is the MKVII golf R(Mechanically similar to the S3). It dyno'ed 268whp stock, after tune it put down 354whp.
